How do you have a relationship with no or bad communication? Talking is the key. You have to let the person know what you like and don’t like. You have to share what you feel. (Yes I know this can be a problem for some men) None of us are mind readers and body language can be deceiving so we have to talk. There is however on glitch; You have to know HOW to talk. Sometimes it’s not what you say but how you say it. If you didn’t understand what was said or being asked don’t be afraid to ask for clarification. Let’s get talking people so that we can have a chance at understanding one another. Help relationships last!
Have you ever wondered how after the excruciating pain a woman may go through during child birth can she do it again, sometimes 3, 4 or even 5 or more times??? Well it’s for multiple reasons but one is because even though we know there was pain we don’t really remember it vividly and that’s all by God’s design. He is so amazing!
John 16:21 (KJV) A woman when she is in travail (labour) hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of (has given birth to) the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man (human being) is born into the world.
Just as our monthly cycle is by His design so is the miraculous act of child birth! 🙂
I just had to share this story. My son, 7, has been dealing with a loose tooth for a few days now. He doesn’t like to let anyone pull them so I tell him to pull them himself. This works out because he’ll play with it until it eventually comes out but this one was being a little stubborn. He played with it so much it started to bleed a little but it just wouldn’t come out. It was barely hanging on. He was eating dinner and became so frustrated because he said it was bothering him. Well yesterday he came to me and said “look mom it’s real loose now” and it was so I told him to pull it but he was scared. I asked to see it and he replied “no you’re gonna pull it” and I said “oh quit whining and just let me see how loose it is”. Well it was so loose that I yanked it out and he was yelling for me not to pull it and I told him “what are you talking about, look it’s in my hand!” His response was “Oh, I’m free, I’m free! Now I don’t have to worry about that darn thing any more!” LOL!!! 🙂
Kids say the darnedest things…
Stop letting other people fill your mind with negativity and information that is not beneficial to your inner man. Christ lives in you. Think about it. What kind of home have you created for Jesus to dwell in? You are the temple and he dwells within. Darkness and light cannot dwell in the same place at one time. Watch what you allow to go into God’s temple. What kind of conversations do you allow God to listen too? What kind of things are you allowing God to see? What things are you allowing God to hear you say? Are you taking care of his temple so that he may dwell in holiness? Are you eating the right foods, excercising, and getting proper health care so that the temple may not parrish? Just as you clean your home daily that you may dwell in peace, so does God long to dwell in you. Clean it up. He lives inside of you and me. When someone approaches you with gossip, doubt, cursing, slander, or any other ungodly conversation …stop them at the gate and tell them no thank you, Jesus lives here!
Oh my goodness it is not easy for a leopard to change their stripes!!! I have to admit that I am a spoiled individual and I am use to getting things my way. In the past I treated relationships as expendable. If it didn’t go my way I simply replaced the person. Now I am married and I took a vow to love, cherish, honor and obey this person for good or bad, in sickness and in health until death do us part. Right now I feel like will death do us part! 🙂 No, really I do not want that but I can say that I value my marriage very dearly and even more so I value my vow to God.
My sincerity to those vows are really being tested right now. You know as I write this I have to say is it really my sincerity to my vows or my sincerity to being saved and living my life according to God’s will. Hmmmm…..I have to say it’s a bit of both. I feel like two people. I have my fleshly desire for vengeance on one side and my obligation to God on the other. My feelings have been hurt and I want my spouse to understand the pain I feel but I know better. I know that the devil hates the bond of family. Especially a praying and God fearing family so he is trying to cause confusion because he knows our weakpoints.
This is not just for me this is for everyone that can relate and may find themselves in a similar position when the devil is trying to interfere in your walk with Christ. Remember you are born again and a child of God and He tells us:
Romans 12:19-21(KJV) says:
19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
